… the thoughts from a life in the Son-shine State

We Are Family…

Day three of Thanksgiving Week, I am so thankful for my family!

I love my wife. She is awesome. She is so sensitive to the needs and feelings of others, she is always praying, and is an excellent mom. She tries really hard to improve on her cooking skills, and works really hard. I am very grateful for her support and I look forward to continue to walk forward into the next season of our lives with her by my side. I love you, Brooke!

My daughter is awesome. She is so smart and really silly. She has an incredible concern for others, especially if they are hurt or sad. At 2 years old, she asks people if she can pray for them if they are hurt; and it makes me so proud when I see it happen. I am so blessed and privileged to have such a wonderful, beautiful little girl that I am responsible to raise! Aletheia, Daddy loves you!

My parents are such a blessing, and I am thankful to God that we have had the privilege to live near them for the last almost 2 years! I never thought I would have the opportunity to do so once I left home over 10 years ago, but here we are! They have done more to bless us than I ever imagined, and I am so grateful for their support. The same goes for my In-Laws. There were some years we lived closer to you, and you were such a blessing to us (and you still are). We have seen God work miracles in your lives, and we are praying for more! Also, I am thankful for my father, John Gagne. I pray that we have more times together in the future; and I am grateful that you are open and honest–many people are not like that. Thank you, Mom(s) and Dad(s)! I love you.

My brothers and sisters: I love you all! Thank you for all you have done and for the support and care you have all shown through the years. To my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandmothers (someone tell Mémère Beaulieu and Mémère Gagne I blogged about them): you’re the best, and I wish we had more times together now that we are older, but distance has made that difficult. I pray for you all and am so thankful for all the great memories we’ve had; and there will be more!

I am so blessed. God has been so good to us, and I am so thankful to Him for allowing me to have such an incredible family.

Really thankful… (if you couldn’t tell…)

Steve
