… the thoughts from a life in the Son-shine State

There are few things…

… more powerful than the testimony of a life changed by God!

Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens,
“It has come at last—
salvation and power
and the Kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Christ.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters
has been thrown down to earth—
the one who accuses them
before our God day and night.

And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb
and by their testimony.

And they did not love their lives so much
that they were afraid to die. (Revelation 12:10, 11 NLT)

SHOUT IT OUT!!! Speak of the goodness of God! Share of the great things He has done!

Please don’t talk about Cadillacs and castles. If your version of “Christianity” made you rich, it means that you really were just ripping someone else off; and you will stand before God and give an account for it.

I’m talking about the I-once-was-lost-but-now-I’m-found stuff! What’s your story? Maybe it was: I was laying on a couch after shooting up heroine and my girlfriend came in, grabbed me, and dragged my sorry butt to Teen Challenge… I was a compulsive liar until I got caught lying to my parents about the alcohol I was stealing from my best friend’s dad… I was depressed all the time and was cutting my inner thighs to attempt to escape the pain… I was arrested for dealing cocaine… I was a self-righteous hypocrite that was in love with my sin… I was a pastor’s kid that wanted nothing to do with God…

but Jesus Christ…

delivered me from my addiction… gave me a second chance… set me free from the pain… gave me purpose… told me He loved me… forgave me of my sin!!!

There are few things more powerful than the testimony of a life changed by God! It gives all the glory to God, it spreads hope to others, and it reminds Satan of how small he really is the sight of Almighty God, Maker of Heaven and Earth, the Author and Finisher of our faith, the Great I AM, King of kings, Lord of Lords, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Mighty God! (The accolades could go on and on!)

Tell someone about The One!

Pumped… (could you tell?)
